"Is Jeff Bezos going to be the world's first trillionaire? No clue. However, if he is, he deserves it. The world is changing. The only question is who will change it."
What? Bird! You made a grievous typo! Everyone knows that Bezos is a Seattle Leftist! Well maybe. Yes, he does have his feet tied deeply in the "cause". He is (or was) a Leftist. So what changed? He did. He became not only rich, but MEGA rich. He is making more money than Mars can make M+M candies. In fact, some analysts think this young billionaire might end up being the world's first trillionaire before he "cashes in his chips."
I get it. How could anyone love this guy? After all, he came up with a new recipe for retail which has saved the world zillions of dollars. He bought the failing Washington Post (big frigging deal), just to jab at our new President. But he also founded Blue Origins, which along with Space-X, is going to change the world - and what lies beyond it.
Do I have distaste for Bezos just because he is left of center of me? Nope. He, along with other Leftists, like Elon Musk, Eric Schmidt, Tim Cook, Bill Gates and others, are our new "Captains of Industry". As such, they will become wealthy - fabulously wealthy. Should we hate them? Not a bit. As we ruminate about all the wealth these innovators have accumulated, Fujitsu (Japan), Samsung (Korea), and China are nipping at their heels.
My opinion? The world is now changing faster than anyone could imagine. We are headed towards 2025 at a speed which is just a bit slower than light speed. If you hate technology or innovation, there is a seat reserved for you in the "left behind" section. If you are ready for world class changes, get ready.
Is Jeff Bezos going to be the world's first trillionaire? No clue. However, if he is, he deserves it. The world is changing. The only question is who will change it. My vote is for Bezos. I see good things coming. We now have a change agent for President - all we need now is a change agent in Minnesota.
