On Tuesday, Minnesota Majority announced major innovations to the group. For the first time, Minnesota Majority has implemented a new, tiered membership program, which provides supporters with unique opportunities to get involved in the work that Minnesota Majority does. With opportunities ranging from providing expanded access to events Minnesota Majority hosts to helping participate in the decision making process on what issues the organization will direct its attention to (decisions previously reserved solely for board members), there is a level of engagement for everyone.
In addition to the new membership levels, Minnesota Majority today, unveiled their new Action Center, the premier resource for grassroots citizen engagement in Minnesota. From the new Action Center, activists can do everything from the most basic task of looking up who represents them to finding tools to engage their elected officials in a variety of ways. The tools for engaging officials and the public range from sending a tweet or email to penning a letter to the editor.
