While the DFL controlled Legislature is being held hostage to the whims of the DFL's special interest buddies, there is real meaningful Legislation that could save Minnesota jobs.
This is a bill introduced by Rep. Dean Urdahl (R) 18B.
That's from a story on Saturday. Here you can find a detailed report of the request. As I understand it, if this bill does not pass, companies will be forced to leave the state as they have reached capacity of Minnesota's new wastewater output regulations and Litchfield's ccapabilities. This could cost the State 300 jobs that would move to South Dakota if Litchfield doesn't upgrade. One has to wonder if Urdahl votes to sustain the veto on the Transit Tax bill, if his bill to save jobs will even get a hearing in the DFL legislature? |
