What could possibly go wrong???

Then President Obama may have had Bibi always keep his foot on the brake, no matter what the carnage was to Israel, President Trump is not cut the same way. If it is war the other side wants, lets get it on. The Israelis have shown they are good at beating impossible odds in six days. If it is peace they want, lets also get it on. First step - start acting like you want peace.

As I pen this article, it is a late afternoon on a drop dead gorgeous Mother's Day in Minnesota. It may be around 3:30 here, but it is 11:30 pm in Israel. What does that mean? It means we are only a half hour away from May 14, 2018 in Israel. A historic day. The day the United States, after a long pause, will officially move its embassy to Jerusalem.
Should be no big shakes. Heck, during Washington's first term, the capitol of this great nation was situated in Philadelphia. Thomas Jefferson, a few years later, decided the capitol should be moved to Washington. Any country who had diplomatic relations with this brand new nation, would need to move their embassy to Washington, D.C. Why? To be close to the action. Like I said, it was no big shakes.
The Palestinians, along with their Puppet Masters, the Iranians, have vowed to act up during the events tomorrow. You know - act like the SDS or Yippies did during the 1968 Chicago convention. Why in the world would they do that? Because their religion says they can. That Israel is only an interloper on their land. Never mind the fact that in 1948, the United Nations granted this land to Israel. Never mind the fact that God Almighty also gave this land to the Israelis. That is, if you believe in God.
I have said this for years now. I have never seen a nation with more patience than Israel. With some of the unprovoked crap that the Palestinians have pulled on innocent Israelis, few would have blamed the IDF if they strafed downtown Ramallah. But they never did. The Palestinians want to destroy Israel - Israel only wants to co-exist with the Palestinians as well as their other neighbors.
Tomorrow will tell quite a bit about the lay of the land. Even though this should be a day of peace and celebration between Israel and the United States, should violence erupt, the Israelis will not take kindly to it. Since our delegation will consist of Jarred Kushner and his wife (the President's daughter), if one hair on either of their heads is harmed, Katy bar the door. President Trump will not be as kind as the Israelis have been in the past to the Palestinians.
