Instead of attending local parties or neighborhood trick-or-treating, some liberal parents will drag their children to Reps. Kline and Bachmann's offices today at 4:00 pm — and demand they switch their No vote on the SCHIP program. Found at Democratic Underground's MN forum today (the same event is also scheduled for Michele Bachmann's office in Waite Park):

Costumed Kids, Toddlers to Trick or Treat at Rep. Kline's Office and Ask for a Special Treat This Halloween: Stop Voting Against Healthcare or 10 Million Children in Need
Burnsville, MN – Today costumed kids, toddlers and parents will gather at Rep. Kline's office at 4:30 P.M. to ask for a special treat this Halloween: a vote to provide healthcare for 10 million kids in need. With the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) set to expire in a matter of weeks, this Halloween season could be a very scary one for the 30,100 Minnesota children who are currently enrolled and whose future in the program may be in jeopardy with the President's threatened veto of the latest bipartisan Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act.
