If you have a video cam, a still cam, or even just a cell phone, we want you to keep your eyes open. We want to keep an eye on our cities, so it looks the same as it did before protesters and/or anarchists turn up. 

Watch for:

  • People wearing green hats [they’re part of the NLG/Cold Snap legal team, and they can be expected at all protester “events”, looking for lawsuit fodder]
  • Guys with purple armbands with video cameras.
  • Piles of bikes.There’s evidence that “protest” groups are gathering bikes to use as cheap, traffic-proof transportation.
  • Groups of people away from march routes.
  • Piles of stuff that could be used to block traffic.

FAIL: Anti-RNC Protesters Barred From Entering Canada

ROAD Kingston, the group in Kingston, ON who was planning to host the RNC Welcoming Committee on their tour of the Northeast has announced that the RNC Welcoming Committee workshop planned for this evening in Kingston, Ontario was canceled. Apparently the border police, FBI, and ATF barred the American RNC "Welcoming Committee" activists from entering Canada to give their talk about the upcoming protests against the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN. The activists were held at the border for 5 hours while they were investigated, only to find out that they were not allowed into the country. The rest of the Northeast tour is still on track, but both Canadian dates have been canceled.
